We are proud to support the communities in which we work and organizations that make those communities great.  Suburban and its employees participate in several community outreach activities several times a year.

 

 

Annual Cereal Drive

 

Suburban Mortgages Annual Cereal Drive benefiting Desert Mission Food Bank in Sunnyslope is the largest outreach that we participate in.  We started the cereal drive in 2012 to assist in feeding children breakfast as 1 in 4 children go to school hungry every day. 

 

We at Suburban feel that children need a good breakfast to learn and stay alert.  Just in 2017 alone, we collected enough money to purchase cereal to feed 32,500 children breakfast.  In the five year that we have been running the cereal drive, we have fed over 68,000 children.  These children are right in our backyard…we had to help!

 

 

Get on B.A.S.E. for Charity

 

Suburban is one of eight mortgage bankers in the valley that compete annually in the Get on B.A.S.E. for Charity” Softball Tournament.  Each team raises money and all funds are donated in the name of the company that wins the tournament.

 

 

Desert Dodgeball

 

Suburban is one of 20+ teams that get together annually to play Dodgeball for Charity.  Each team raises money and all funds are donated in the name of the company that wins the overall tournament.

 

 

Hydrate AZ Water Drive

 

The Salvation Army partners with our community to bring life-saving measures to Arizonans in need. Suburban delivered more than 2400 bottles of water to the Salvation Army last summer for their  Red Shield Survival Squad. This program assist those who suffer the extreme heat conditions the most, without a place to go to keep cool during the most excruciating time of year in the valley.
