Rita Wensel is a seasoned Sr. Loan Officer and Licensed Mortgage Professional. She has worked at Suburban Mortgage, Inc for over 20 years and she sets the standards for service, integrity and excellence in the mortgage industry. She has won awards for top level loan production including the prestigious President’s Club award for the past 12 consecutive years. Her ability to truly listen to her clients needs along with her extensive knowledge has earned her the highest form of respect from her clients by consistently gaining their repeat business and referrals from friends and family. Her friendly personality and enthusiastic approach to business helps put her clients at ease and creates a smooth loan process. 
Rita is experienced in all types of financing including FHA, VA, Conventional, USDA, Jumbo, and specialty government owned properties such as Fannie Mae and HUD financing.   She has expertise in the HUD Homes Program and has been involved in financing HUD Homes for over 20 years. In addition, Rita has taught numerous classes and seminars to help educate Realtors and her fellow loan officers on the nuances of HUD financing. Having this diverse background ensures the best outcome for her clients in getting a loan that is hassle free and painless from application through closing.

 
Rita is a native Arizonan and grew up in a large family of 6 sisters and 3 brothers where she feels she learned the value of hard work, family and negotiating skills. She is a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and supports numerous charities such as Habitat for Humanity, St. Vincent De Paul and American Cancer Society.  Rita lives in Phoenix with her husband John and their 2 children Shawna and Kyle.
